CHRISTMAS IN JULY - SUN 21 JULY 2019
Come join us and bring the whole family for an awesome day out at Lake Club Benoni and Grapes Pub & Restaurant!
Join us below the Bowling Green next to the Lake for a Craft Market! There will be plenty stalls for you to peruse so bring some extra moolah to buy those Christmas in July gifts for the ones you love. This will also be a fundraising initiative for The Guardians, so please come support this as it’s all for a good cause.
Parents can drop their kids for the day to participate in the “Introduction to Golf clinic” (hosted by Gavin McCarthy) at a cost of only R75 per child. This fee includes a basic introduction on golf, some putting lessons and more! The session is approximately 1 hour at the clinic and includes a hotdog and soft drink from 12h30 till 13h30. There will also be information on Steps Dance School, Swim School and the LC Tutoring Centre so come and find out all the information you need to enrol your child in these awesome extra-mural activities.
The rocking NIC RUSH will be playing at Grapes from 12h30 till 16h30 so be sure to bring your dancing shoes!
That’s right, we’ve specially organised Santa Clause to come in from the North Pole with a few lucky packets & photos with the kids from 14h00 till 15h00!
Come dressed up for spot prizes that will be announced at 15h00 inside Grapes.
We will be having many Booze Specials and promos on the day - including a Fitch and Leedes and Gin Factory Promo, combined with a Glenbrynth promo and more. Stay tuned to this event for more details!
The Guardians is an NPC Organisation nestled under WEBA (Western Extension Business Association) in the Western Ext community. We do fund raising to help with feeding and clothing the needs of the community.
The Guardians is run by 8 warm-hearted women who have been assisting our Community for over 4 years. Western Extension is th oldest suburb in Benoni - home to many hard working families, some living on the bread line, many unemployed and some who have hit hard times and become homeless.
The area has many Senior Citizens including 2 Council Blocks of Flats housing around 250 Pensioners.
The Guardians work hard to collect donations in the form of toys, books, clothing, appliances, furniture, blankets and of course food being the primary need.
Please support this wonderful organisation! You can visit their page to contact them for more information: https://www.facebook.com/TheGuardiansWEBA/
